[FF8 - The Extreme]

Oh hai

If I'm not mistaken, and I probably am considering how long ago it was, but wasn't it me who requested The Extreme?
Regardless, nostalgic rating is through the roof so no complaints there :3

The only criticism I can find is that the melody that plays alongisde the bass is just a tad quiet which lets it disappear with the bass, I'd have made that only slightly louder [not much, just slightly :>]. By melody I don't mean the high pitch that you can hear at 02:00, the lower bass tune that plays under it.
I'm not that good at explaining so I hope you know what I'm referring to...

In any case, still a great remake of a classic final boss theme :>

Extremely good

Hopefully this'll keep me motivated enough to finish the flash i'm making

The only problem i find is that the ending to to abrupt, a nice fadeout or something similar wold make this epic. but hey, nothing perfect

I thought that myself when I made this.. but then people would complain about the fade-out and without having an ending... so I made a loop kind of ending.

not too bad actually

but it lacks the punch i think it should have, sounds a bit basic

if you ever plan to remake this try to make the guitar notes fow smoother into one another and make them just a bit more hardcore

it's a great start, but kinda feels unfinished :/

here's what i think

it's a very good remix, but, idk, it sort of lacks the punch the original had

the original is the type that is designed to make you want to get up and dance, this is more of a background music, especially from 2:33 onwards, and in places it reminds me of carnival music, which is a definate downer for me

and the vocals are really what make the song what it is, i can respect why you never added them, but all the same, not the best choice you could have made

all in all, a nice remix, but i dont know if it's better or even equal to the original, sorry

4 / 5 for effort

[Megaman NES Compilation]

here's what i think

i really like it, i haven't played any megaman games, but i do recognise good game music, the megaman games must have really catchy music, as this is one of the greatest game compilations i've heard, i like how it keeps the roughly the same beat throughout, other compilations i've heard sound as if it's just a lot of separate songs put together, this has smooth transitions, which is a nice change

keep it up, this is the type of thing i like listening too, i 5'ed and downloaded, well done!

you really should have them seperate

the song is good, but it sounds a bit like you stuck 2 seperate songs together, either have a better transition from piano to techno, or make them separate songs altogether
that and it gets a bit monotonous after a while, but good overall

your lead is really excellent, but that was sorta let down by the fact that you put the main beat in a little too late, here is a tip dont keep the ambient part going for too long, leaves too much wanting, then you blew it by suddenly ending it after you started to get into the groove again

but yes, overall this is a very good song, it deserves an appropiate title! i'm no great shakes at title making, but something like "The Shooting Stars" or something

and after reading the rest of the reviews, i think it's about time you removed the 0-bomb suggestion, lol
